Fiat Professional are the commercial vehicle wing of the Fiat Group, an Italian Automobile manufacturer based in Turin, northern Italy, with UK operations headed in Slough. With a car history stretching back to 1899, it wasn't until the late seventies/early eighties when Fiat started taking vans seriously, with the launch of the first generation Fiorino, and the heavy duty Ducato.
Fiat Professional today offers 5 vehicles, ranging from the Grande Punto to the Ducato. Although the Fiorino, Scudo and Ducato share the same chassis as its Peugeot and Citroen variants, Fiat's models differ as they offer Fiats own engine ranges. The Fiat Professional range for the UK market is manufactured in France, Italy and, more recently, Turkey.
