Volkswagen Vans

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are the LCV division of the Volkswagen Group. Volkswagen was formed in 1937 in Wolfsburg, to provide affordable automobiles for Germany’s lower classes. Following the huge success of the Type 1 Beetle, plans were drawn up for a Commercial Vehicle variant to be produced. Volkswagen vans have come a long way since the first Transporter. Launched at the end of the 1940s, this design classic became a symbol for a generation and set up the blueprint for a range of award-winning commercial and passenger vehicles.

It’s a story of constant evolution, groundbreaking innovation and countless revisions based on the things that the driver has asked for. Today, the iconic Transporter, along with the Caddy and Crafter, is part of a superb range that meets every possible need and want, all displaying the qualities you have come to expect from Volkswagen: reliability, ruggedness, comfort and efficiency. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are a separate brand and marquee of the Volkswagen Group since its split with the car group in 1996.

The VWCV UK line up is as follows:

  • Caddy - Small Panel Van
  • Amarok - Pick-up
  • Caddy Maxi - Small panel van
  • Transporter - Standard Panel Van
  • Crafter - Large Panel Van and Chassis Cab
